I am a PhD candidate in philosophy at the University of Pittsburgh. My central research interest is the philosophy of Immanuel Kant. My dissertation concerns Kant's conception of self-knowledge. I also write about artificial intelligence and ethics from a broadly Kantian perspective. Throughout, my work draws attention to the rational significance of aesthetic awareness in human life.

Outside philosophy, I enjoy spending time with my son, making music, and cooking mediterranean food.
